I have been known to be vocal about bad service, so I thought I would share two examples of great service.
The first happened last weekend. The LED screen on the electonic thermostat in our new place has been flashing constantly since we moved in. I finally looked up the company online. I sent them a quick email Saturday night asking if they could send me the manual. Sunday morning I received a call from a CSR of their company and he helped me figure out the problem.
I was very impressed that they would take the time to call me on a Sunday to help me with a product I did not pay for.

The second instance was a few minutes ago. I received a call from Shoppers Drugmart asking me how my new inhaler was working. Did I have any questions? They weren't soliciting anything they just wanted to make sure that I was comfortable with the product.

Very refreshing.
